Pavilion 

Several Penrose Park facilities can be rented or reserved by groups or individuals.

Those that can be rented are the Penrose Station community building

(additional tables and chairs available), the Pavilion

(water and electricity available) and the Gazebo (electricity).

To rent any facility or area you have 2 options:

 

Option 1: Download a rental form, click the button below that applies to your group.

Please print the form , and fill it out. Feel free to call the district if you have questions.

Call Roberta Newton at 719-429-7002.

You will also need to call that number to arrange payment for your rental.

Option 2: Fill out our online rental form below and submit your payment (if necessary)!

A PPRD member will contact you if there happens to be any conflict with the date/s you requested. 

You may also reserve exclusive use of the basketball/pickleball court, the volleyball court, the horseshoe pit,

the baseball/softball field or any of the shade structures.​

Rental fees- Base rates include a 4 hour maximum. A charge of $15/hr for additional time will be added.


Basketball/Pickleball court can be reserved at no charge for up to 2 hours.

Agreement & Indemnification

I, the undersigned, have read and understood the Penrose Park and Recreation District's Facility Rental Policy and agree to its terms and conditions. I expressly exempt and release the PPRD from and against all liability stemming from my use of the rental facilities.

You will receive a copy of the Facility Rental Policy to your email to review.

Payment Structure

There are 2 payment options for non-profit entities.


Option 1: pay a per use fee of $25 for the Penrose Station or $15 for the Pavilion or Gazebo. All other spaces are free of charge


Option 2: Preform one hour of volunteer work for each use of the facility (see terms & conditions).

By signing below we commit to follow through with our chosen option. We anticipate providing the necessary fees or required amount of hours in volunteer service.

You will receive a Terms and Conditions Contract by email that you must print, sign and return to the Penrose Park and Rec before the first date of requested rental.

Event Vendor Contract

NOTE ON REGISTRATION: Vendor forms must be submitted one week before the event, except by permission of the park district.

Vendors must provide their own equipment, such as canopies, tables, chairs, etc. Those parking on street are responsible for disposal of their trash and grease.


All fees are non-refundable as they are used to promote events.


No electricity or running water is available outside of the park.

Vendors are responsible for leaving the area in the same condition as they found it, including dumping of grease and trash disposal.


The Penrose Park reserves the right to censor any booth.

Penrose Park District or its affiliates will not be held responsible for any liability, lost or stolen, damaged merchandise or any injury incurred during the event.
